More gallery updates! First up, some new Automat candids have been added, a bucketload of of pictures from Empire Awards 2008 and a few new high qualities from the Kid’s Choice Awards.

Also, thanks to a tip from Bella (original source either Evanna-Lynch.org or Luna Fans?), a new article with the designer of Evanna’s green dress from the Ciaran Sweeney shoot has spoken on designing the dress. The original source also shows Evanna’s dress in progress. Jimena Rilova commented that Evanna “shone” in the dress. Here’s a rough translation of the relevant Evanna bits:

The young Burgos designer, Jimena Rivola, has jumped at the opportunity to be an assiduous participant of the ‘Fashion Castle Catwalks’ in Leon. She has done it outside Spanish borders this time in Ireland, the place where she worked for three months for the Ciaran Sweeney company. She is creator of the handmade velevet dress which made actress Evanna Lynch shine (she plays Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series).

Thanks to publicity in the Irish Independent (one of the national Irish newspapers), Rivola has been thrust into the public spotlight, making a mark in colouristic creations with her hand-tinted velvets. While creating the design of the dress, Burgos was inspired by the tones that usually illuminate the actress – green and blue – and considering her thin silhouette, created a dress of romantic and rich aspects, in volumes and original brocades. The dress took four days of intense work. After one test with Evanna, a very touched Rivola commented that she was “satisfied … with the model and the result [of the dress]“. source
