Thanks to a tip from Snitch Seeker, we’ve added half a dozen or so fan photographs from Evanna’s appearance at the London HMV store to sign ‘Half Blood Prince’ Blu-Ray DVD cases! Evanna was joined by fellow cast member Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Jessie Cave (Lavendar Brown)! Photos can be viewed here, in our galleries. Also, Oclumencia have added a brand new behind-the-scenes photo of Dumbledore’s Army at the Ministry of Magic from ‘Order of the Phoenix’! Although you can’t see their faces, the photo really captures the emotion and tense atmosphere of the shot – you can check out the shot here, in the galleries. And finally, a little tidbit of news relating to Luna’s abduction in ‘Deathly Hallows’! Snitch Seeker were informed of a possible filming location for the scene and managed to get some insider scoop from the set! Here’s a snippet from the original source:

[...] I was told by one of the studio chaps that they were filming exteriors for a scene with Neville, Luna and Ginny on the train. There were none of the actors present and the train was filled with local children from Fort William. source

Sorry about the lateness of this post, but as we all know, the past cannot be changed! Onwards with news!

First up, Evanna made an appearance on RTE’s The Late Late Show and spoke briefly on filming ‘Deathly Hallows’ and promoted a competition the show is running! Evanna’s segment has been captured and uploaded onto Youtube, here, thanks to Snitch Seeker! Captures (semi-decent ones) have been added into our galleries here.

Also thanks to Snitch Seeker, we now know that Evanna, along with co-stars Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and Jessie Cave, will be appearing at the Oxford Street HMV store on December 6th to sign copies of ‘Half Blood Prince’ Blu-Ray disks, from 4pm and 6pm. Only 450 fans will be allowed into the store and given wrist bands and it is a strictly first come, first served event! Wristbands will be handed out at 10am to the first 450 fans in the queue. For further details, visit either the HMV site or follow us for further details!

Due to limited time available access to the queue will be strictly limited, and the cast members will only be in a position to sign the Blu-ray/DVD combination edition of the film, which has been made available for this event. Wristbands will be issued from 10am on the day of the event from the store on a first come first served basis, no reservations, one wristband per person only. source

So sorry for the lack of updates on Evanna Fan lately – it seems both Evanna and I have been busy, busy, busy with our own lives! To make up for the lack of updates, some high quality treats have been added to the gallery, including never-before-seen photos to high quality replacements from much loved Evanna appearances! New additions have been added to the following albums: ‘Half Blood Prince’ Milan Train Launch and London premiere, and from the 2008 ‘Irish Film and Television Awards‘; plus production additions (courtesy of Oclumencia) to the ‘Half Blood Prince’ on the set and ‘Order of the Phoenix’ photoshoot; exclusive high qualities have replaced dingy old medium qualities in the ‘Half Blood Prince’ Belgium premiere and Evanna leaving Ibiza Restaurant way back in June during her promotional stint in Milan.

In non-gallery updated news, ‘Half Blood Prince’ has been nominated for two awards at the upcoming People’s Choice Awards! Scoring nominations for “Favourite On-Screen Team” (for Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint) and “Favourite Movie”, let’s see if we can get top honours for ‘Half Blood Prince’! You can vote here as many times as you like; the ceremony is set to broadcast live on January 10, 2010!

Also, ABC Family is set to run their annual Christmas tradition, airing the first four films during their “Potter Weekend” movie marathon – starting from December 4, ABC Family will screen the movies plus exclusive scenes from the upcoming ‘Half Blood Prince’ featurette specials, including “Close Up With the Cast” with Evanna Lynch! The featurette will feature Evanna talking Luna Lovegood and her whacky costumes!

And finally, in ‘Deathly Hallows’ filming news, co-star Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) had talked briefly on Neville’s role during the final instalments of the Potter movie series. As we all know, with the Trio away searching for the horcruxes, the resistance movement at Hogwarts is led by none other than Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood! Here’s what Matt had to say on the resistance’s role in the movie:

I got the final script a few weeks ago. Neville has got a lot of stuff to do. The three main students (Harry, and friends Ron Weasley and Hermoine Grainger) have been away from Hogwarts, but Neville stays and takes charge of Dumbledore’s Army (which leads the charge against Voldemort and his forces.) He is leading an underground resistance. He gets beaten and is a bit bloodied. read more?
