I’ve had an incredibly productive morning – adding a bucketload of screen captures and animations to the site! You can view the latest screen capture updates here, in the galleries. Some highlights: Evanna and Katie promoting ‘Order of the Phoenix’ at Tescos; Evanna signing autographs on the red carpet of the Empire Awards; and Bonnie, Devon and Evanna at the Beedle the Bard auction. Also added scans from Ponytail magazine, courtesy of Tanvi over at Luna Fans.

The highlight of this post however is animations! I’ve updated the site and added thirty seven animations from Evanna’s appearance at Luna Lovegood from ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’! Some of them are a bit large, but they’re all super cute! You can check those out here.

There’s also been some content updates; mainly a detailed (and somewhat long) Luna Lovegood: A History, with biography and year-by-year content and a page dedicated to Evanna and her outfits and costumes! Next up: timeline! Keep checking back for updates.

A new (well, clearer) TV spot has been released, simply entitled ‘Quidditch’. Featuring rock’n'roll music, Quidditch and loads of cheering and humour, this is probably one of the better TV spots for this movie. Evanna as Luna Lovegood was featured briefly, mainly alongside jack-in-the-box Jessie (Lavender Brown) cheering on Ron Weasley during assumeably, Quidditch trials, and the ever popular, Luna on the train scene. Also, new news on the Swiss premiere of ‘Half Blood Prince’. It has been confirmed that both Evanna and Matthew Lewis will be in attendance; it’ll be in Zurich, at the Arena Filmcity on July 10th at 6pm, local time. If anyone manages to go, pictures, videos and reports would be greatly appreciated by Evanna Lynch Online!

Wow, Evanna’s gonna have a busy ‘Half Blood Prince’ promotional period! Along with promoting in Milan and Belgium, Evanna will be making appearances at the ‘Half Blood Prince’ premieres of Switzerland, Poland and Denmark! Evanna is schedualed to make these appearances with Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there are not set dates at the moment, but I’m guessing it’ll be around the 11th July (when the Belgium premiere is), but we’ll keep a look out for updated news.

Also, Irish Central has posted a brand new interview with Evanna, in which she discusses the movies, on-set secrets, being famous and post-Potter dreams! The interview starts here and goes on for about three pages. Here’s some excerpts:

“No, I can’t wait! I think I’ll attend premieres in Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland and other places,” Lynch tells the Irish Voice and IrishCentral, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. “I’ll be traveling with Bonnie Wright (who plays Ginny Weasley) and Matt Lewis (who plays Neville Longbottom).” source

“The best part of this experience has been meeting the people who were idols. That has been great because they are amazing people and they do achieve so much though working so hard. But they’re so normal as well and they don’t have airs and you see all sides of them.” source

“But some people think Luna and Professor Dumbledore would make a great pair in another universe. I mean obviously he’s far too old for her, but their personalities completely match. They’re calm and accepting and quirky and I think they’re both really creative. I’d say they’d be fun together.” source
